CAMP Ski Mountaineering Race at Crested Butte

2010 RESULTS ARE ATTACHED AT BOTTOM

The CAMP Ski Mountaineering Race at Crested Butte is January 30th, 2010.

Start: 8 am, Base Area

Registration: Friday 5-7 pm in the Capitol Room in the Elevation Hotel,at the base area of Mt. CB. Entry fee of $70 includes lift ticket, post-race meal/awards/raffle @ 4:00 pm at Spellbound Pizza in the Treasury Building. Season pass holders race entry is $35. Entry form is attached, participants will also need to sign a CBMR waiver at registration.

Saturday morning registration (also Capitol Room) is from 6:30-7:30 am. If it all possible, please register friday night.

Awards/food: 4:00 pm at Spellbound Pizza in the Treasury Building.

Course: The course will be weather-dependant; for updates keep an eye on the COSMIC home page/COSMIC Facebook. If weather is an all-go, see attached map; (route is the same as in '09) except there will be a proper skin track on the side of the steepest pitch of International so racers will not have to go strait up as in the past. Recreation category route is approximately 2,500 ft and does not do the lower loop on the back side and does not climb Mt. CB on the last loop (red line is Race only). Race and Heavy Metal course is 4,500 ft.
