Race the Divide

2010 RACE RESULTS ARE ATTACHED AT BOTTOM.

Race the Divide ski mountaineering race is presented by Salida Mountain Sports. Race registration and additional information will be available at the shop. Participants must carry a beacon/shovel/probe and wear a helmet (bike ok) during the event.

Where: Monarch Mt. Ski Resort

When: 8 am start for Race, Heavy Metal and Recreation categories

Registration: in-person only on Friday, February 19th from 10 am - 7 pm at Salida Mountain Sports in Salida. Morning-of registration at the resort from 6:30 - 7:30 am. Registration form is attached. $40 entry includes a lift ticket for post-race afternoon skiing.

Course: Recreation course is two climbs and descents, approximately 2,000 feet. Race/Heavy Metal/Vet course is four climbs and 3,500 feet. Images of the course are attached and available at Salida Mountain Sports.

Lodging: The Simple Lodge hostel in Salida is offering a 10% discount for racers.
